Regulation 2024/1689 of the European Parliament and of the Council of June 13, 2024 was published, creating harmonized rules on Artificial Intelligence.

EU AI Act Impact promoted by the Industrial and Commercial Association of Vila do Conde
Vila do Conde, the city where I was born, is also attentive to the evolution of AI, the way it has evolved, the impact it has on people's lives and their businesses.
This first session, promoted with the support of the Industrial and Commercial Association of Vila do Conde, aimed to “disturb” Vilacondenses businesspeople by alerting them to the legislative developments that are underway around artificial intelligence and so that they can be in line at the forefront of this debate that should involve everyone!!
It was a fluid, reflective and very interesting conversation!

Emergn Talent Talks | Exploring the impact of the EU AI Act on May 23th
Last week I had the great privilege of being at the Emergn offices in Porto to explore together with our participants the proposed AI regulation that will soon be published in the official EU journal.
It was a debate lasting around an hour and a half, very rich, very lively, and which “bothered” us, which encouraged us to reflect and want to know more and to want to be part of this great discussion around #ia!
We also had the collaboration of CIJ-FDUP with the participation of Professor Graça Enes, a specialist in European Law, who gave us valuable insights into the global data strategy in the EU and European digital transformation.
A big thank you to everyone who made this event possible and who welcomed us with so much affection.
